Um ataque ao Irã?
A declaração de Barak (do Ehud, não de Obama), soa como manobra diversionista, antecendente da ação militar… Claro que qualquer medida de força não será nada fácil, tanto pela capacidade de resposta do Irã quanto pelos fatores geopolíticos que condicionam as ações na região (como a rivalidade árabe-israelense, a questão enérgica e, sobretudo, os interesses das grandes potências, particularmente dos EUA e da Rússia).
De toda maneira, o resultado das eleições nos EUA na próxima semana terá impacto sobre a decisão de Tel Aviv, isso é óbvio! O que não é tão óbvio é até que ponto Netanyahu está disposto a continuar com o apaziguamento de Washigton e se arriscar a ser agredido por uma nova potência nuclear ao invés de tentar um ataque preventivo…

Adolf Hitler himself had bestowed the honor of his presence along with his architect Albert Speer and several top Nazi party officials. Photographers couldn’t get enough of what they thought would become a magnificent moment in history. The high-ranking delegation had come to inspect a massive construction site on a local hill — one that had begun taking shape in recent months — and which seemed radically out of place.
