Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) — The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea posted on its website on March 26 the detailed gist of the conclusion made by the dear respected Kim Jong Un at the national meeting of light industrial workers.

The work, published on March 18, Juche 102 (2013), indicates the principal tasks to be held fast to in the field of the light industry and clarifies the ways for bringing about a fresh turn in developing the light industry.

Those Who Hurt Dignity of DPRK’s Supreme Leadership Will Not Survive: CPRK Spokesman

Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) — A spokesman for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) released the following statement Tuesday: The south Korean puppet military hooligans already drafted a plan for mounting precision missile strikes at monuments praying for the immortality of leaders and praising them, symbols of the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK, in Pyongyang and other major cities in the DPRK, according to the March 25 issue of Chosun Ilbo. The die-hard military gangsters were reported to have worked out the “list of targets” based on precision analysis through satellite photos and others, saying that the destruction plan can have serious psychological impact on the people in the north. Touching on this, a person concerned of the puppet government said he knows the military has envisaged attacking statues with air-to-ground and ground-to-ground missiles. “Votemos por Maduro” (ou “Chavez te lo juro”)

Não vou aqui tecer maiores considerações sobre o próximo presidente eleito da Venezuela (ou alguém acredita que a oposição tem alguma chance de ganhar as eleições do dia 14 de abril???). Primeiro, antes do aviso oficial da morte de Chávez, Nicolás Maduro disse em cadeia nacional que a CIA (a Central de Inteligência Americana) havia “inoculado um câncer em seu líder bolivariano”, como teria feito com outros líderes da América Latina. Depois, com a campanha eleitoral, ameaçou o candidato da oposição dizendo que “a CIA pretendia assassinar Caprilles e culpar o governo bolivariano”. Por último, encarnou o finado tenente-coronel-comediante-ditador-bolivarianista em um passarinho (caso típico de metempsicose chavista – coitado do passarinho!) para dizer que, por meio do bicho (e como grande telepata), falava com o fantasma de Chávez! Dá para falar mais alguma coisa desse grande estadista?

Pobre Venezuela, pobre América Latina. Cada povo tem o governo que merece…

E por falar nas lembranças da II Guerra, a Spiegel de 25 de março de 2013 trouxe um dossiê especial sobre o legado do último conflito mundial para os alemães. São matérias primorosas acerca da maneira como os descendentes daqueles que viveram o III Reich e guerra lidam com a história de sua família e de seu país. A revista também trata da percepção dos alemães sobre a guerra do presente e a participação das Forças Armadas germânicas nos conflitos do século XXI.

A título de exemplo, segue reportagem sobre um filho e sua relação com o pai que teria servido sob a suástica.

A Son’s Quest for Truth – The Last Battle of a German WWII Veteran

Heinz Otto Fausten, a German soldier who fought in World War II, saw things no one should ever have to see. After that, the high school teacher just concentrated on the future. But then his son started asking questions to find out whether he was a murderer.

Ottoooo..! That scream, that horrible scream, the scream that has echoed and reverberated in his head for the last 71 years. That scream, shrill and terrible, that only he can hear now, as he sits at his dining table in a small house at the end of a quiet, dead-end street, in a quiet living room with a vase of tulips and a gingerbread heart on the shelf, with the words “Opa is Fantastic” written on it with icing.

The scream transports Heinz Otto Fausten back 71 years to a trench in Kalikino, Russia, 2,240 kilometers (1,400 miles) away. The journey takes him a fraction of a second. Suddenly he is 21 again, and caught in a ruthless, violent world where life is about nothing but survival.

He is crouched on the ground next to his friend Ekkehardt. They are cowering in the trench, the entire company, one man next to the other. The trench is their only protection. Bomba em Berlim

A notícia correu o mundo na semana passada. Quase sete décadas após o fim da II Guerra Mundial, uma bomba é encontrada próximo à estação central de Berlim (Berlin Hauptbanhof). É incrível como o conflito ainda está vivo no solo alemão – literalmente. Mas as seqüelas nos corações e mentes da população daquele grande país ainda são maiores. Outro aspecto a ser considerado relaciona-se à quantidade de bombas que ainda estão enterradas (para serem encontradas) nas principais cidades alemãs: um sinal da tentativa de genocídio dos aliados contra o povo germânico…

Rail Service Disruption – WWII Bomb Found Near Berlin’s Main Station

Train services to and from Berlin suffered delays and cancellations on Wednesday after a munitions experts set about defusing a 100-kilogram bomb from World War II found near the city’s main train station.

The discovery of a World War II bomb near the main train station of Berlin disrupted rail services to and from the German capital on Wednesday.

“Travellers should be prepared for delays and route changes in long-distance services,” a spokesman for rail operator Deutsche Bahn said.

A police spokesman said buildings in the vicinity of the bomb had already been evacuated in preparation for the disposal, which was likely to take place around noon. “At the moment we plan to defuse it by mechanically screwing out the detonator,” the spokesman said.

Some 1,100 trains and up to 700,000 passengers pass through the modern station each day. It was opened in 2006.

The bomb was found by munitions experts conducting a routine search of a site in preparation of construction work. Unexploded bombs from the Allied bombardment of Germany during World War II are still frequently found. The munitions are getting more difficult and dangerous to defuse because their fuse mechanisms have corroded and become less stable over time.

Bomb disposal experts have been warning that bombs will increasingly have to be exploded where they are found because moving them has become too risky. At least two such controlled explosions took place last year, in Munich and Viersen, causing damage to surrounding buildings.
